droid shadow

I'm really excited for this new phone. I personally think that the droid shadow will take the place of the "incredible" for Verizon. This new phone may as well be the evo for Verizon! In all the hoopla about this phone in the past two weeks i think that it will be an amazing phone and will quickly replace the droid and incredible.

Awesome looking new blackberry phone running OS 6 and webkit browser!!

Leaked BlackBerry Bold 9800 Photos Show Off A Little More Of The Webkit Browser CrackBerry.com

droid shadow?

There are already leaks of a Motorola droid predecessor being released on Verizon's network as early as July! Most tech reviewers are saying that Motorola is calling it the Droid Shadow. This is big news considering people have been waiting a long time for a predecessor to the Droid by Motorola. The new phone looks to be a lot sleeker than the Motorola Droid but from the picture on the box you cant really tell if it has a slide out qwerty keyboard yet or not yet. If this new Motorola droid does have a keyboard than I'm hoping they got rid of the D-pad altogether. I never liked the D-pad personally but I did read that some people liked it a lot so for them it might be a turn for the worst. One thing that did catch my eye was the home, menu, search, and back buttons, they almost look like hard wear buttons rather than touch sensitive ones. This may be a good or bad thing for Motorola, good being the fact that touch sensitive buttons don't always respond and bad being some people just flat out hating hard wear buttons.

Now switching over to the front design of the phone. The phone looks to be made very well same as the Motorola droid does. Unlike HTC Motorola builds its products with the best and sturdiest materials it can find. Motorola just has a better track record of quality with its devises than HTC. The droid incredible was very cheaply made in my eyes as far as the outside hard wear and look goes (don't get me wrong I'm not shooting the incredible down altogether just the make and materials). Motorola has the upper hand as far as make goes with its products.

well this is joshontech and that was a quick look at the Motorola Shadow hope you enjoyed it please comment and i will see you in my next blog.

New mackbooks

This is joshontech
The new MacBooks look much better now than they have in the past. And the inside has a much faster core duo prossessor wich works verry nicely togeather with the nvidia graphics chip placed in it. This computer isint revelutionary due to the i5 and i7 chips now avalible in the new MacBook pros but it is a refreshed MacBook. All in all this computer is verry nice and it's price stayed at 999.99$ wich is nice for people that don't have the money. The only problem I have with it is that it only comes in a 13" model and I like to have the extra screen realestate for video editing but it's good for most people.

Well this was joshontech and I will see you in my next blog.

Blackberry bold 9800 slider

Rim is makeing it's new bold (the bold slider) for AT&T?? I don't know why they are doing this considering that it's a touch screen and verizon needs a new phone to replace the blackberry storm 2. Rim needs to get it's act togeather and apparently it's been trying too with it's new blackberry6 comming out in June. I don't think this blackberry6 O.S is going to be that revelutionary to blackberry smartphones. oooo it has pinch to zoom and a more customizable homescreen so what android has all that already and android OS is so much better than I phone or blackberry as far as customizability goes.

Well what do you guys think will blackberry pull itself back into the mix with more fun phones? leave comments and tell me what you think

Kin one and kin two

Well in the more resent days two new phones have been released on Verizon’s network the Kin one and the Kin two. Both phones are running windows phone O.S. for Kin. I will start off with the Kin one. This phone being smaller than a sticky note pad is very small for a Smartphone . The screen on it is a 2.6” high res TFT, QVGA (320x240) capacitive touch screen. Personally for me this would be way to small for me to even get use to, for a touch screen device. It does however have a slide out qwerty keyboard which does come in handy on a small device like the Kin one. On the very top it has a 3.5mm headphone jack. This phone also has a camera a 5mp camera! This comes to a surprise to me because a lot of even bigger smart phones like the Motorola Droid and the Droid Devour only have a 5 or 3 mp camera. Also the Kin one and two supposedly have new flash technology that makes the flash two times brighter so even though the kin one only has one led flash it supposedly does the work of two. I noticed as well the hardware buttons for the camera, volume rocker, and the lock button are oddly placed. The camera button is on the top right hand side of the phone but its placed on the curve of the top as well as the volume rocker that’s on the opposite side on the curve of the top. As you all know most phones have the lock button on the top this phone has it on the right side under the camera button. I would find myself hitting the lock button many times considering the phone is round and I would have my fingers right were the lock button is but that’s just my opinion.
Ok now lets get into the O.S. of the phone as I said in the beginning both Kins are running on Windows phone O.S. for Kin. This is a very clean O.S. everything is very strait forward. Once you unlock the phone you are greeted to a nice green and black double column of apps messages, phone, email, browser, music & more, settings, alarm, camera, feed reader, search, contacts, and help. At the bottom right hand of the screen there is a clock button, if you tap this you get to see your service bars your ringer volume time and battery life. Directly in the middle there is a green circle this is called the spot were you can drag all the info you want from your facebook twitter myspace or any other social networking site to and than send to whoever you want, also you can share pictures right from the camera application witch is nice. All you do is drag a picture from the list to the spot and presto you can send it to whoever you want! The phone also has three panels that you can switch to. If you slide your finger to the left you will get the loop now what the loop does is integrate all your social networks together and have everyone’s latest posts, tweets, or updates all in one place on your phone. As I said before you can drag and drop anything you want from the loop to the spot and share it with anyone. Than if you slide your finger to the left again you will come to your favorites were you get to set anyone you want to that panel. The phone also comes with Zune player were you can play your music, buy songs, and import them from your computer. Overall the phone really isn’t that bad I personally give it a thumbs up for its O.S. features and good use of real estate for the keyboard.

Next I will give you a brief look at the Kin two. Since the Kin two runs the same O.S. I will just give you a overview of the outside of the phone. First thing I noticed about this phone is that the screen was definitely bigger. The Kin two has a 3.4” high res TFT, QVGA (320x240) capacitive touch screen much bigger than its little brother the Kin one. This phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as the Kin one (considering it runs zune player). Now this phone (apposed to the Kin one) has a 8mp camera! That is as good as the droid incredible some would say. Also it shoots 720p video that is truly amazing for a phone. The Kin two also has a slide out qwerty keyboard just like the Kin one but instead of sliding from the bottom it comes out of the side making for a much larger keyboard. The camera button is on the bottom right hand side of the device and you have the volume rocker to the top of the same side. Than you have the lock button on the opposite side of the camera and volume buttons. I give this phone two thumbs up because of its larger size and its bigger qwerty keyboard (even though it doesn’t use all the real estate it could have for the keyboard).

Well this is my review on the Kin one and Kin two this is joshontech and I will see you in my next review

Evo 4g!!

HTC Evo 4g releasing on June 3rd on sprints network. will i iphone g4 be a competitor against this well powered super smartphone??

I phone g4

In a tear down of the iphone g4 I noticed it is running on one of apples a4 chips. An a4 chip is a special chip that apple destined for its macbook pro computers so including this in the iphone g4 means that apple is sparring no power in this device. This new reviled information is creating questions. Two of which are "does this mean that the iphone g4 will be HD?" and "just exactly how fast will this new iphone be?". No one can be certain of just exactly what this new i phone will be capable of but all the evidence is pointing to this phone being the most powerful phone on the American market. Only the future can tell what we will be in store for when this phone is released. Personally i cant wait to see it i think it might just revolutionize the iphone and maybe even the whole smartphone industry!

what do you think will it be a huge change or just a total letdown leave your comments and tell me what you think

droid incredible camera

the camera on the incredible is simply incredible. capturing beautiful pictures with its 8mp auto focus camera. I do understand that its not all about mp when it comes to cameras but with the incredible pinch to zoom technology it really lets you show close up detail without that picslated look you get with most phones. it also takes DVD quality video. I can tell you for a fact that the video camera is incredible on this device it doesn't have that blurry look of other video cameras on other smart phones it has a clear crisp look to it and now you can buy and adapter so u can watch your videos strait from your phone to your TV this is truly amazing. well that is just another reason this device is truly incredible. plz comment and help me to understand my readers better id love to converse with you guys BTW my e mail is hagtosmo@aol.com if you have an issue you would like to talk to me about. thats it for now i will be back with another review soon till next time this is joshontech and i will see you later.

Droid incredible specs

This is the droid incredible by htc Its running on android 2.1 and has htc's sense interface overtop of that making for a great customizable experience. The outside of this phone is basically the same as most phones it has a 3.5mm headphone Jack, a lock button to the top left, a standard volume rocker on the right hand side towards the top, and a unique track pad that has great functionality.
When you press the lock button at the top you are greeted with a lock screen that displays missed calls, txt, email, and a clock. Unlocking the phone is as easy as a swipe of your finger from top to bottom when the lock screen is displayed.
Once unlocked you will quickly notice the 3.7 inch amaled touch screen. It's bright and vibrant colors are wonderful and the live wallpapers that are supported on the phone do it much justice. Next you will notice the big clock that htc has and the weather displayed in between the hours and minutes at the bottom of the clock widget. At the bottom of the screen you will see an arch that has the application list opener phone and a plus sign (I'm not positive what the plus does exactly yet) under that you will see the touch sensitive home menu back and search buttons. Above the arch you will see a little grey line that tells you what home screen your in. This divide has 7 home screens to fully customize with widgets and shortcuts to your favorite applications. Now three ways you can switch between home screens one is the swipe action were you swipe your finger from one side to the other next is the track pad you can swipe that side to side as well, than there is a new way that htc has implemented and it's pinch to switch home screens you simply pinch the screen inward and a list of your 7 home screens appears were you can select witch one you want to jump to.

That's a quick over view of the droid incredible thanks for reading please comment and give me feedback of how I did and ways I can improve my blog this is joshontech and I will see you in my next blog thanks
